As a huge Sonic fan, I was reluctant about the premise of this movie. I saw it today, and it really is the best we could have gotten from everything we saw over the past year. It has a lot of heart, and it remains faithful to the original games. The writing can be cliche at times, but there's nothing to cringe about. Performances are fantastic. Very pleasantly surprised.
