One of the best shows on tv. Rarely do I disagree with judgement of knives. However I’m disturbed by two knives doing poor on strength test while the third is an obvious stand out. Then the better performance of strength leads to under performance in the sharpness test. As major blade damage is more important than the need to reshape new a blade I would like to see a test where the blades are resharpened by the judges. The process counts as they oils have 10 minutes to help the edge out without power tools. An in the field resharpening test where by you use a standard ceramic finite sharpening with ten strokes technique. The thought being a softer life with more maintainable quality is more valuable than a brittle node the chips or rolls too much!
