WAY ahead of its time. I still play this game today, despite owning all the latest racing games. The fact that this game even has 4K as an option is a blessing, and with the right mods it looks even more incredible. There is an amazing community of great people creating great mods for this game on turboduck, where thousands of more modern cars are available to replace the dated selection and mods are available to completely overhaul and enhance the graphics. As you can tell I LOVE THIS GAME! A lot of people who feel the same way had the game when it first came out, but I only bought this two years ago! It's a shame that the online servers are no longer running and that you can no longer purchase this game on Steam. I feel bad for those who have to miss out on such an enjoyable open world game. I love both islands in this game and the attention to detail is insane. The soundtrack is unmatched. The player immersion is unreal. I CAN'T WAIT FOR TDU 3!
