Acting was ok, but Emillia went out of character a couple of times when a more upper-class accent slipped through on occassion. Sometimes the character's 'kooky' behaviour was a bit over the top and childish for a 26-year-old. Unrealistic in terms of what working with someone with quadriplegia would really be like (having worked as a carer myself). It's not at all glamorous or romantic. The suicide aspect was awkward and unpleasant, as it infers that any formerly active person who has suffered such an injury would want to commit suicide - which is not true. Though it must be unimaginably difficult, I have seen people in that situation find tremendous strength to be there for their loved ones and live as best they can. It takes a lot more courage to live sometimes than it does to die.

Worth watching but plot seemed a bit rushed and confusing in parts. I didn't like what I assume are supposed to be attempts at cheap humour, as it made the characters and story seem silly and childish - not in keeping with the formerly more serious nature of the rebellion and the individual characters personalities. Lots of discrepancies in the characters too. Did have good action scenes within it though.

Terrible film. Bad acting, clumsy dialogue which is virtually drowned out by background noise and corny music. Didn't appreciate the violence or kinky sex. Disjointed plot and badly written regarding spiritual or supernatural matters (might have helped to do some actual research first?). Don't know what happened to Nicolas Cage, he's gone to the dogs in this movie (or is that 'doggy' ?...). Don't waste your time watching this.
