I’m a daily viewer and look forward to starting my news cycle with Mika, Joe and Willy. I was surprised this morning when Joe kept repeating in false disbelief about why The president can’t show empathy as if he can actually have empathy but chooses not to express it for the suffering Americans affected by CoVid19. Empathy is not a quality one can turn on and off at will. This president lacks empathy and the word “lack” means that he is incapable of it because he has none. The lack of empathy is a large symptom of his narcissistic/ sociopathic personality. People who have these mental illnesses suffer from an absence of empathy. Viewers of MSNBC realize this and don’t expect that this president will suddenly be able to change or demonstrate “normal” human behavior.
