One of the best Bond films ever. Cold War tension set in Eastern Europe without all the gimmicks, corny dialogue and endless stunts that plague the other Bond films.

Irwin Allen resorts to a paint by numbers production. Here Allen pulls out all the stereotypes from the silver haired General to the expert who just happens to be at the right place at right time.
Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds is a far superior film.

A surprisingly good film. I'm not sure if all the science is believable, but that doesn't matter. Deep Impact though was probably a more watchable film.

A very slick tribute to the Hollywood musicals of the 1950s however, unlike those musicals, the songs here are forgettable and there's almost no plot.

Cliched script, corny teenage dialogue. Some good visual effects though

This rides on the coat tails of the suspenseful, gritty and groundbreaking original without which this sequel would have surely have bombed at the box office. Entertaining enough but average film.

Whist this is a Quiet Place rip off it's still an entertaining film. Unlike the Quiet Place the predators are Pterodactyl type creatures are everywhere to be seen. Perhaps plagiarism rules in the film industry are more lax than say the music industry.

Entertaining but total BS. Alec Guinness plays the arrogant patronising British officer out teach the natives (so to speak) that the Western way is the only way to build a bridge for your enemy army. A Japanese prison camp where no one is mal-nourished and the camp commander takes advice from his captives.

Brilliant acting by Joaquin Phoenix. A storyline almost foretelling America's current social unrest. Should have won the Oscar for best picture.
