This movie’s suspense is remarkable! Being of an age that makes WWII, and all it’s moving parts, a never ending search for how & why. This genre is compelling. I will endeavor to read the book to gage how well it was interpreted and translated into such an excellent film. Most enjoyable!

Well done. I had written off Mickey Rourke years ago because I thought he played rolls I could not abide with, starting with 9 1/2 weeks. His portrayal of Ashby shows me the error of my judgement, he is likely to be a very good actor in screen roles outside my comfort zone. Now I must open the archives and take another look at the actor inside those parts.
