It hasn't been quite successful in the box office but has been able to grab everyone's eyes because of the story line which sticks to reality at all times and is very much relatable and doesn't takes you to the world of fantasy and in the world where we would regret on our lives and hate the idea of being ourselves.
The movie begins with Chris Evans who plays the role of Nick who is basically a musician and is struggling nowadays and has come for an audition to NYC which is on the next day and playing trumpet is at Grand Central station, meanwhile he encounters Brooke Dalton, a women in her 30s rushing to the train to be precise the last one after her bag gets stolen and she is in disguise and she has to save her marriage.
Nick on the other hand goes to help her and we see them coming closer to each other and as the hours pass by we see a chemistry growing among them.
The fact that the movie is based on one night is what distinguishes it from others. Critics have compared this movie to the classical romance of 1994, before sunrise well it might seem that movie is a kind of a rip off of before sunrise and many of the scenes such as their encounter with the astrologer and the phone call scene are kind of similar and the title of the two movies also make them similar,
But unlike "Before Sunrise", "Before We Go" is more realistic and has a mature story line. NICK and BROOKE are two mature characters unlike the immature duo JESSE and CELINE and are dealing with their own problems more maturely. NICK is suffering with his love life and career, while BROOKE is struggling with her marriage, which is under a very critical stage.
It has an obvious yet sad ending..
