The storyline is poor. The acting is very rigid. I was glad when one got killed. Nobody seemed to get dirty. The first trench scene looked too tidy. The famed special effects in the middle looked like a computer game. The trench at the end was banked the wrong way. The music was overplayed. British troops listening to an American song? Go and watch the last episode of Blackadder.
