If you notice the track titles and their sequences, the songs are actually in the order of Shakespeare's Romeo Juliet. This storytelling saga is nothing new to GOT7. They did the same with Spinning Top: Between Security and Insecurity. I personally find this idea quite clever and creative. It makes listening to the songs much more cohesive and easy to immerse myself in. It's like an auditory journey through a literary prose, with varying degrees of emotions, expressed in high notes and intense rap flows. The members took part in songwriting and production as well, and if I have to pick a favourite, it would be either Love You Better (by Jinyoung) or Poison (by Yugyeom). Either way, both the songs and also the other ones let Markbam shine the most and honestly they deserved it. Overall the rappers dominated the album, both in raps AND vocals, as evident in the title track, further cementing my opinion that this group are truly the king of versatility. You can never pinpoint a genre or a concept when it comes to them, because they own each one with such ease and grace. It's a shame they are so underappreciated in their own country. Maybe because they sound a little bit more western for their taste, maybe because they have foreign members, I'll never understand. That still doesn't undermine their talent though. I wish Korea would learn to broaden their horizon and experiment new things for a change. That's all. Give the new album a listen, you wouldn't regret it!! Thank you!!
