Brilliant adaptation of the book--Anthony Hopkins WAS Hannibal Lector. Cinematography was outstanding, as was the music soundtrack. I loved the entomologists---I hope Clarice went out for that cheeseburger and beer! :-)

The review is so absolutely rubbish. Written by someone with a jaundiced and biased mindset. The film is powerful and moving. The whole cast supports and exemplifies the two opposing sides and the acting is totally empathetic to the subject. This is one of the most gripping post holocaust films to date, eaily on par with Schindlers List.
