Just finished Midnight Mass and felt compelled to write a review as feel profoundly moved. Despite being in the horror genre, this show is far more about the failings and futility of religion the philosophical musings on the meaning of life. In fact, despite a few healthy jump scares and a grisly final episode it would be hard to call this a horror at all.
Slowly paced, character driven, beautifully shot and led by steller performances from most of the cast, it really is worth a watch but give it time to unfold and enjoy the ride.
The script is outstanding too!
