Janet Davies

This has been my favourite book for decades. I am now 80 and still.keep a copy to pick up. It is a lovely story encompassing all emotions..

I read this book years ago but couldn't remember the content Which says it all. My husband and I decided to watch the new series. Terrible! It was pure violence for the sake of violence. No story as such. After giving it 2 episodes to improve we gave up and switched off. That's 2 hours I will never get back. I used to read all Mo Hayders books but on screen it doesn't have enough work for me. Absolute rubbish. No wonder the world is so violence led with series like this screening 6 nights at peak viewing times. BBC should be ashamed.to spend our licence money on such violent trash.

Sorry, I'm no Dumbo but I was no wiser when I left than when I arrived at the theatre. Special Effects were amazing. The actual play storyline was confusing and to me very boring. Worse play I have seen in all my 70 + years. Actors were brilliant though. That's time I will never get back and money!
