Prime Drop

😭I’m honestly so disappointed right now. I really thought this movie would be amazing after seeing all those great reviews, but now I’m starting to think most of them were paid. It feels just like that “Su from So” movie hype all over again. I’ve always been a huge fan of Rishab Shetty — Kantara (the first one) was pure magic. That movie wasn’t just good, it was an experience. Everything about it felt divine and powerful. But this one… it just didn’t have that soul. The acting felt off, the Mangalore Kannada accent didn’t sound natural at all, and the story had no real depth or detail. Even the action scenes felt repetitive, and some of them towards the end looked straight-up copied from Baahubali. I’m actually sad because I really admire Rishab’s work. Movies like Bell Bottom, Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana, and Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale are my all-time favorites — each of them had uniqueness. But this one just missed the mark completely. That said, there were a few good moments — some of the jokes worked, the tiger scenes were nice, and that “diva” scene after the interval was probably the best part. But apart from that, it just didn’t feel like the Rishab Shetty magic I was waiting for .
