I loved the series so much, it was the best. I thought the movie’s plot would be so much better but the only good thing about this movie was Derek’s protectiveness of his son. The plot was all over the place, out of all the villains that guy was chosen? Like.. who’s eli’s mother? What happened to mrs. McCall and argent? What’s the point of the new character hikari if she was barely even in the main plot AND WHERE DID SHE COME FROM? Where’s the bond between liam and scott? The dialogue, oh, the dialogue was unbearable.. and don’t get me started on the cgi. And really? Killing a beloved character after bringing back shitty ones? (No hate to allison but her decision making was all over the place in the series..) This movie had so much potential, so damn much, but no.. we’re bringing back dead characters instead of bringing in actual good writers. Look, I'm so open minded about sequels but god damn was this movie so disappointing. Like seriously? A random police officer kitsune just to bring back the Oni? I have a feeling this movie was thought about for a few hours and then the writer and director went with it. I was so hyped for nothing. This movie seems like something that people are just gonna pretend was never made. It should’ve had better plot and fight scenes, or just ended where it did, the series. No wonder Dylan O’brien was not up for this.
