It was so bad that I couldnโt even finish it. I stopped halfway, hoping it might get better, but I had to pause and check some reviews to see if it was just me.
Finally, I ended up fast-forwarding to the ending, just to see if it would redeem itselfโand it didnโt. I get what they were trying to do, but it just didnโt work.
Right from the first 15 seconds, I could tell the husband was shady. Her snooping around felt forced, and the characterโs actions didnโt add up.
Why is she portrayed as this fragile woman who canโt stand up for herself when sheโs clearly capable? It didnโt make any sense.
It reminded me of The Open House on Netflixโanother movie with so much potential, yet ultimately disappointing.
Itโs frustrating that movies like this get made, while so many amazing, original books would translate beautifully to film but are overlooked.
Perhaps itโs a filler movie to watch when folding laundry or working out too.
If itโs this movie versus another movie you wanna watch. Please go with the other movie instead if this one.
Yeah! Itโs that bad. Whatโs also annoying is itโs so dimly lit that you canโt see in certain scenes because itโs so dark on the tv.
Basically, skip right over this.
