((Very minor spoilers, probably safe to read if you havent seen movie.))
The special effects look kinda silly, but in this case its not nessisarily a bad thing. Unlike other movies of this genre, this one actually held my attention. It posed some intriguing ideas in space horror that i hadn't even knew could be horrifying, yet beautiful in its own way. (talking about the one scene with the stuff getting on that one guy). One of my favorite sci-fi movies.
