Easily one of my favorite movies! I feel like this musical is a little reminder to take life a bit less seriously. The music is great, the story is light but emotional, and it’s actually fun to watch. Can’t believe I didn’t watch this sooner!!

This is a tiny bit lengthy so if you haven't watched the show, here’s my take: ⭐️This show is great if you want to see meaningful characters with good animation and quality action sequences. ⭐️It follows a show don’t tell rule for storytelling and is definitely worth a watch. ⭐️There is very few points (if any) in the show that are not quality and the action sequences and storyline are equally balanced, tilting a bit more towards storyline focused. ⭐️This show could be picked apart for lore and is pretty thought provoking, especially towards the end, so if you’re into that kind of thing it’s a great show (a lot of the theorizing I’ve seen is based off of the game though, so take that into account) ⭐️The only gripe that I’ve seen/had is that the show moves too quickly, but there’s a reasonable explanation for that. But yes WATCH THE SHOW!!! Ok here is some more info on what I thought of the show - there are some SPOILERS so I’d avoid reading this bit if you haven’t seen it yet: I loved the show, and although the ending may have seemed rushed it gave a lot of the audience something to think about going forward. I think some of people don’t realize how expensive this show was for an animated series, but Riot Games put a lot of emphasis on good and quality animation, storylines, and music which takes a lot of money. This might be a good explanation for why it felt a bit rushed at the end. Overall I feel like Arcane is among some of the best animated series available and the creators were able to give deep and meaningful moments within the show while also moving the plot forward in a thrilling way. A lot of the deaths found throughout the show do have meaning, even Isha, and most characters that have dialogue will have a symbolic point to them that was obviously thoughtfully placed with great attention to detail. Arcane follows a show don’t tell style of storytelling so I can understand why a few people may find certain moments confusing, but the show wants you to think about it and find the connections that it has placed in its plot and story to find the answers. The characters are complex and meaningful, the story is thought provoking and exciting, the music is just mwuah *chefs kiss* incredible, and don’t even get me started on how much of an animated gem this show is. 100% would (and have) recommend(ed) this to any friend of mine.
