As a long time fan of the count of monte cristo- I adored this movie. Thereโs obviously liberties taken with characters and events, but I believe the gist of the story remains the same. Considering that itโs a 3 hour long film, I couldnโt be happier. Costume design, the soundscape, the editing were all superb. I canโt believe how lovely this is, 12 year old me would be over the moon to see this. Money well spent.
