Duane Fugate

I just don’t get how we went from an amazing series to this… Kal is a therapist? No. He’s not. He’s a gritty spearman thrust into an important role because he didn’t give up. He didn’t have a fight the entire book barring his flute duel. Horrible. Did we need modern profanity in this book. No. Roshar already had its own. Did we need modern day political agenda injected awkwardly (out of nowhere) into this world? No. The spiritual realm was a true waste of time. Probably like 20 hours on audible with only 30 minutes being important to the storyline. I could go on but I’m tired of venting already. I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 because at least Adolin had some development.
