I dont leave reviews, honestly I dont go to the movies anymore but the roommates paps was in town so we went. Aye this movie... im an indian guy born in south africa grew up in California for the most part, this shit kinda broke me, I... listen it wasnt Denzel Washington level performance but god did it hit, the raw of the "villian", the angst yet pursuit from the main character. The grief that hits personally from loss and toppling giants. Building everything and gambling it for your heart and whats right. Together, these people created artwork. Something that impressed me too was very nuisanced cultural manners like the way their lips moved and casting that really suited the timeline the church guy and main antagonist specifically. Maybe it hit a little too personal but the anger I felt and at the edge of my seat everytime the main character is faced with choosing something so rejected but even through his discipline he sees the line. Hard too write without speaking of the actual moments. All the pain you endure you think is specific to your own trials and endeavors some 16 year old you thought would live like a god is living it worse and still up cooking. Be humble and grind for your people.
