I first watched the interview with Carlos ‘Carlitos’ Páez Rodriguez, which captured my whole attention. I then learned about this movie and I knew I had to watch it. Not knowing more than what Carlitos had said, I was captivated by this movie. I was in tears. I was shaking. I was rooting them on. I wanted everyone to survive even when I knew they didn't. Don't get me wrong, hearing the stories from a survivor is tough. But being a visual person and seeing what they went through (even in a movie) I cannot describe the feelings. I wanted them to get home but I was so invested, I didn't want the movie to end. I think that's the difference between the movie and the interview. The movie, I know they're actors playing a real event but these people are ok...whereas, with the interview I could not escape the realism, the pain and heartbreak. I can feel all the emotions with this movie, and I know that's what they're after. So therefore, I give it a 10/10.
