you’ll see a lot of people on here either glazing or absolutely despising this show. in my opinion it’s well worth the watch. season 1 was phenomenal, yea some of the dialogue makes me wanna blow my brains out but it’s ok you can’t get everything right. the idea behind the show is really interesting, yes it does take ideas from other shows and the whole “skinwalker” thing but like it’s genuinely a good scare. spoiler warning for what im about to say. season 2 was somewhat of a shitshow but it kinda works well with the situation the characters are in. yea i did skip through a lot of the monotonous dialogue and the love trope with what’s his face was god awful but if you think about it (stay with me) it makes sense. if you were in a town that’s making everyone schizophrenic psycho killer including yourself, why would should you tell the people around you what’s going through your head or what you’ve discovered. it only makes sense to keep ur insights/certified geek seshs on the low. furthermore, i believe that the constant twists and turns in the show makes sense in season 2 as the world around them is known to feed of their fears and stress, so why not keep them on their toes. the world the characters live in is just how those skinwalkers like to “play” with the residents before killing them. the world dangles a carrot in front of the residents face only to pull it away making it more torturous for the people of the town. i’m not saying i liked it but i am saying it would make sense. either way season 2 was still a good scare. very spooky and thrilling. idk if i said this but the love trope was straight cheeks. also the dialogue was unnecessary and overdrawn so don’t be afraid to click through it. season 3, so far it’s alr i guess, i only watched the first episode of season three but yea so far very ehh. POINT IS good watch, good scare, overly drawn dialogue, lot of twist and turns, don’t listen to the glazers or haters, fun watch but not necessarily quality quality, more like seudo quality.
