Besides Water World this is probably Kevin Costner’s worst movie. It’s bad enough to take time out of my day to post a bad review bad. It did have a lot of good cinematography but the storyline was trash, it was just too much going on. I doubt the other installments make it to the theater. Sad thing is, had they tweaked it a little, it would probably be a great TV series. A lot of the good reviews were accurate but I personally didn’t like it and I see why it was only 4 people (an elderly couple, their assistant, and myself) in the theater. Best thing I can say about it is I didn’t fall asleep. HBO should turn it into a series. This doesn’t belong in big theaters. I really expected more from Costner. I mean he created the 2nd best Western in the history of film making Open Range, second only to Clint Eastwood Unforgiven.

Season 4 didn’t do it for me honestly I wouldn’t have watched had I not already been invested in the characters thru previous seasons. Production was great, plot and storylines felt lazy and written half heartedly. Hopefully the 2nd half of season 4 they correct this and give us 7 more episodes in a part 2 then end it with 7 more in a part 3 then it would make sense for part one to be this dry.
