At the beginning I was intrigued by the story line. I began watching "The Waterfront", but after seeing the multiple episodes it seemed that I was watching a Soap Opera building a body count.
In-between the fight scenes, shoot outs, and murders there was the diversion of everyone starting and then stopping affairs. As I saw the story line began to dribble away it is important to credit the actors. They were trying their best with the material that they had.
It might have potentially been an entertaining series if it had it had more originality. "The Waterfront" ended up incorporating so many bits and pieces from past series and films that made it sadly predictable.
