This is a powerful movie that evokes a range of powerful emotions. The film sheds light on lesser-known aspects of India's pre-independence struggle. I only recognized references to Gandhi, Congress and Muslim figures, which makes sense since that's what the textbooks focus on. The film prompted me to explore more about our rich history. Hopefully, kids these days get a broader picture of what actually happened back then and learn about the forgotten revolutionaries who played a crucial role in India's independence. I hope this movie opens the eyes of those entitled Indians who take our freedom for granted.
