Poorly acted. Dennis Quaid is stiff and unconvincing as Reagan. Penelope Ann Miller was way over the top as Nancy. Direction likely to blame here. Movie is mostly a dull plod. Seeing the 5 star ratings my only explanation is this is essentially a propaganda film for the MAGA crowd, but it's simply a poorly made movie.

Rom Coms aren't my usual genre but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I'd never seen lead actors Priyanka Chopra and Sam Heughan before but thought both of their performances were spot on. It was great to see Celine Dion on screen in spite of her health problems. None of the symptoms common with her neurological disorder seemed to have impaired her performance. Not great cinema (most rom coms aren't) but a fun and worthwhile way to spend an afternoon or evening in the theater.
