The acting is good, the combat is great and if you haven't read and loved the books I'm sure it could be quite enjoyable besides the poor ending imo. Or if you watch it thinking of it as a completely different show it probably isn't bad. As a huge fan of the books I was so excited through season 1 of the Witcher and season 2 as the director kept saying how they wanted to stay true to the source material, how Andrzej Sapkowski created such a well written and unique story they didn't need to change or add anything. It seems like that has now changed for whatever reason and instead of following the magnificent work of the creator they changed every major detail to the detriment of the entire series. It's not a origin story of the Witcher, Its a disgusting cash grab. I'll watch season 3 of the Witcher with Cavill but anymore seasons or spin offs I will not be watching. It is disgusting how they have butchered a widely beloved series that had such fantastic lore and storytelling

Obviously a rip off of justice League with a little bit of marvel rip off too but overall it is pretty entertaining. The blend between cartoon, live action and cgi is absolutely wonderful and the story is really good. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 4 is it is clearly quite low budget, the camera work isn't the best and some of the acting is questionable. If the camera work was better id rate it 4 stars as it is very enjoyable and entertaining But overall if you love DC and want to see how they would react in a world on the brink of nuclear war and in darker scenarios it's worth watching. Like a blend of DC/marvel with Scott pilgrim Vs the world aesthetics, in a world more similar to that of Watchmen
