Subverting expectations is what I think the film maker was going for, but that goes in the opposite direction to what they were building up for the whole movie. Had such great potential with highly talented cast but the ending just ruined it for me. It could have been a movie about the family’s struggle going through a legal battle but in an attempt to have a big twist at the end the character arc that was presented until that point was shattered and felt pointless. I wouldn’t recommend this movie to anyone. It was very disturbing.
