A masterpiece of scene, dialogue, and emotion. I am telling all my friends to watch this one. All the characters are damaged goods and the scenes in the kitchen are priceless. I have watched the first two episodes and had to fuel my anticipation of the third.

I was amazed by the honesty of the families. The Greek dad couldn't understand how a family could function without a man being present. The two mom household realized that all their traditions had be long stolen. Whether they became lifelong friends remains to be seen. But being yanked from their insular comfort zones with open and inquiring minds is good.

I enjoyed it completely. Singing and dancing were superb. The characters appeared as real people, of many shapes and colors. I was pleased that Lin placed himself in a minor singing role and especially liked that he slipped Christopher Jackson in as Mr. Softee. If you hate musicals having nearly scene break out in song don't see this one. But I love all the songs and the arrangements.

An stirring portrayal of naval warfare during the Second World War. Hanks character displays controlled leadership with great honor. The pace of the film is break neck. One also connects with power of the sea.

A lovely small film bolstered by the acting skills of Tom Wilkinson. Bella, the main character is enchanting in her quirky nature and her eccentric suitor fits in this eclectic cast. Definitely worth a look
