You know Nicholas Hoult is a great actor when he makes me want to strangle lex luthor to death

This movie KICKS ASS. Coming off of the disappointing mess that brave new world was, I expected a badly written, somewhat funny, generic film I got a well written, genuinely funny, and surprisingly entertaining and well executed story. The characters: Yelena: a good and understandable protagonist. It also helps that Florence Pugh really plays this character well. Red guardian: I was laughing my ass off with every line and gag that had to do with this guy. David harbour was born to play him. Ghost: she’s kind of a nothing burger in this movie. Sure, she’s likable and funny, but there’s not much else to say. Walker: understandable motives, and again, an enjoyable character. Bob: god, you will end the movie loving him. Bucky: he’s armed and dangerous. Again. Taskmaster: who? Valentina: Julia Louis Dreyfus kills it in this role. You’ll love to hate her. Post credit scene: gotta say, it’s fantastic.

A great entry point for beginners, yet fans of any aspect of transformers will feel represented and appreciated. A beautiful film A 10/10 Go see it so we can get a sequel
