The shift is a quasi sci-fi take on the religious tenants of the book of Job. While overall the acting is decent and the story is entertaining, there is clear religious propaganda present, which may be displeasing to some viewers, especially if you stay for the "extra scenes" which is essentially asking for donations for others to see the film. Honestly this last act of Proselytism in the film is a bit shameful and off putting.

This was a great movie....... if it was 1996. Overall the characters are all gritty and speak with graveled voices. The high tech gadgets we enjoyed in previous iterations of the dark night seem trivial in this film. If you enjoyed "The crow" or other dark , gritty films this may be for you, as for me it didn't keep my interest. One aspect that was interesting however was that is version of Batman was more realistic in terms of what an actual non-enhanced human is capable of , as such, it was more realistic in my opinion.
