Extremely disappointed with the film. I had been looking forward to it since I heard about it around 2 years ago. I'll watch anything with Melissa McCarthy, but when I heard Jerry Seinfeld had signed on for a lead role, my hopes began to fade.
There were parts that were humorous. Amy Schumer as Marjorie Post was great. But the moment that made me shut the movie off and never look back was when they recreated the Capitol Insurrection with cereal mascots. Completely bad taste in referencing it at all.
Honestly wouldn't recommend sadly.

Absolutely gorgeous film. Gorgeous costumes. Gorgeous set design. And a phenomenal performance by everyone involved. Deserved every single award it won.
