Tessa who? I haven't read the books, but I did binge the movies. This felt so... unresolved, rushed, and fell flat. Hardin repeatedly says he's trying to turn his life around while completely self destructing. They bring an old flame in and I spent most of the moving thinking, "he better not!" Tessa is seen only via text for 95 percent of the movie, giving the illusion she's completely moved on, further leading to Hardin's spiral. Hardin pulls himself together for a whole five seconds and they reunite for five seconds. After Tessa easily spent two years telling him she moved on, she instantaneously is head over heels for Hardin. Having worked through absolutely nothing and resolved absolutely none of their problems, they get intimate and flash to their happy future together.
