Magdalena Bay give us a fusion of neo-psychedelia, synth pop and space rock revival that feels fresh and different to any other music coming out this year. The songwriting is melodic and infectious while being super creative. The production is easily the best I've heard this year for anything in this genre. I have a feeling this is already my album of the year and I can't see anything else topping it.

Unbelievably bland and some of the most juvenile songwriting I've heard in a while. I guess in a sense the title is accurate since sitting through this album was akin to torture.

Easily some of her best work. Roisin Murphy continues to make some of the most creative pop and dance music you'll ever hear.

Such a wonderfully raw, gorgeous album that hits on so many important topics like climate change, death, trans violence, heartache. ANOHNI has given us some of her most impactful work on this record and sounds even more powerful vocally than she has before. Easily one of the best albums of the year.

PJ Harvey once again comes through with a great album full of intrigue, mystery, and poetry. A challenging record but all the more rewarding because of it.

Such fun, funky and sensual album. Definitely Jessie's best. My favorite pop album of the year so far.

Fiona has outdone herself and made a true work of art. Her defiance, soul and wit shines magnificently in this record. This further cements her as one of the best songwriters of her generation.
