Absolute drivel. One dimensional characters blindly walking into their fates offers no suspense or drama. With no proper scares, suspense or horror only a couple of good ideas (the Inside Number 9 twist in episode 2 was nice) and Dolly Wells' Van Helsing kept me watching as long as I did. Just having Dracula's character a bit post-modern isn't enough to count (sorry) as a new take. Claes Bang hams as best he can, but works best when his tone is matched to Wells', their scenes together being some highlights of an otherwise wasted opportunity.
