6.5/10 The supporting casts’ acting was weak and quite awkward at times. The music was great and I enjoyed the original songs too! Visually it was beautiful. The romance was flat, and definitely lacking. Did not feel like they were in love at all, but if you watch it as a girl who is in love with humans and the human world and not Eric, then you’ll enjoy it. Melissa McCarthy CARRIED. I think so much more highly of her now as an actress because of what she did as Ursula. Absolutely phenomenal performance and reminds me why I love movies. Halle Bailey was sweet and did a good Ariel.
