As a die-hard PES fan, EA Sports FC 25 has been an absolute letdown in every way. It feels like a disaster from multiple angles, and I'm honestly struggling to understand why things went so wrong. First off, the game is blatantly scripted. There are too many moments where the result of a match feels completely out of your hands, as if the game itself is deciding how things will play out. It's incredibly frustrating when you lose in ways that make no sense. Whether it’s inexplicable errors or players doing things they would never do in real life, it just kills the immersion. Why did EA decide to go down this route? It’s beyond me, and it’s honestly a huge turn-off for anyone who just wants to play a fair, competitive match. Then there’s the fact that the game isn’t fun. It feels more like a stressful task than an enjoyable experience. The unrealistic moments, the overpowered AI, and the lack of consistency just make it exhausting to play. Instead of having fun, you’re constantly grinding through frustrations, which completely takes away from the enjoyment. But the worst part of it all? PES. EA Sports FC 25 is supposed to be the successor to what was once an incredible franchise, but it completely misses the mark. PES was everything this game isn’t: competitive, skill-based, and unscripted. PES gave players a true test of ability and kept the matches unpredictable. Now, with PES gone and EA taking over, we’re left with this hollow version that has none of the charm or excitement of the game it replaced. The reviews are speaking for themselves: EA Sports FC 25 is getting blasted left and right, and for good reason. It’s clear that EA has been so focused on dominating the market that they’ve forgotten what made soccer games enjoyable in the first place. Sure, EA’s the only major player left, but when your game is getting some of the lowest ratings I’ve ever seen, that doesn’t seem like much of an achievement. It’s honestly a shame. I miss PES, and I hope EA takes the feedback seriously. If they don’t, they’re going to alienate a whole community of dedicated fans who just want a soccer game that’s fun, fair, and competitive.
