A typical Hollywood production for the American market for peoples with no sense of realism and no knowledge of real cinema. Only combat shots were good, and the rest is a ridiculous farce; they made a Polish widow almost a prostitute, in the prison camp they were full of energy (on watery soups!), clean with great hairstyles in the type of James Dean ;-) Afro-Americans were shown as super intelligent - almost the master race ;-) The detailed interrogation in Belgium is a joke- for the Germans it was enough to just look to know that they have an American airman and immediately imprison him. Music completely pointless.For lovers of war cinema I recommend; When the trumpet fade, Come and see, General Nil, Lost batallion.
