This is a must read for parents ( especially adoptive and fosters), adoptees, teachers, counselors, speech language pathologists ( I am a retired SLP with 29+years experience), occupational therapists, physical therapists, people living alone ( there’s an entire chapter on this), and anyone who has experienced trauma. It’s a great read but can stir up some emotions if you’ve experienced trauma. It explains why students seem ADHD/ADD but are not! As a parent and professional, I wish I could have read this 30 years ago!
