I think the movie did great homage to the book, all the characters were perfectly cast, when reading the book I didn't imagine Lucy Gray with that accent but when I heard it, it was perfect. Snow was great, seeing the change in him throughout the film and with the snow we know coming through at the end. Some bits were changed but it was too drastic and actually fitted the movie very well.
