I've been watching Emmerdale for about 26 years, recording it in the good old days of video so I could watch it in peace when my children were tucked up in bed. However, having persevered through the absolutely ridiculous Meena storyline that went on and on and on, but sticking with it out of loyalty and in the hope it could only get better, I now know that I was wrong because another stupid storyline is emerging, Leyla taking drugs!! The Leyla character has never shown any tendency to be this new person, it's laughable and actually sad that a good soap has got to be so bad. I for one cannot watch it anymore, it's just rubbish.
