Growing up, with your formative years happening about 1981, this was an album that anybody who had their ear to the ground for great music owned. Each artist contributed a great track to make this Soundtrack. You might look back now and see the film as primitive compared to many of today's digital animation, but at the time you had to seek this out to be in the know. This was a time before the invention of the term "hair band".. even heavy metal was really not used by the people who did love it so. It did not easily fit into any category at that time and I find it still doesn't.
