Odd little camp film about a loner with a secret, serial killer double life. By day, he tries blending in with society and being a normal person, but amusingly fails in his attempts with often deadly results. Losing himself in 80's action films is the only thing that brings him real joy in his otherwise dreary existence. That is threatened by a television repo man, the town bully and a hard nosed detective when a child goes missing and Tony is the prime suspect. Worth a watch to see how blind luck often plays a part in the lives of these hapless people.

No one ever talks about the fact that Dylan Baker's character drugs his entire family in order to rape Johnny. I have the uncut release of this film and it shows Bill mixing in the drugs in the tray with everyone's food. Bill's wife and young children get sleepy and go off to bed shortly after eating and his oldest son is sleeping next to Johnny playing video games. The next morning, Bill's wife thinks they made love but can't remember anything. Sick.

What I'm saying is that the demonic possessions were terse; where the original demons lived it up with their mean spiritedness knowing their prey would meet their demise is too away from the guilty playfulness of their situation in the new version. So much could have been done there. Having fun is an important element in all films.
