"Unbreakable" was an interesting film with a good script, good character development and a great arc. "Split" showcased some very good acting on the part of James McAvoy, and a decent script, decent amount of suspense. But the final scene, which suddenly presents us with Bruce Willis in his "Dunn" character seemed like an afterthought -- as if Shyamalan thought, "Wait.....what if this could be a trilogy?" then tacked on the diner scene at the end of "Split" and set about making "Glass" -- which is a ridiculous, empty shell of a film. The story line of the "super hero" specialist...seriously? The dialogue was repetitive and ridiculous, there was no real action, no real development, no build of tension. I simply don't understand the purpose of this third movie, except of course, to reap some money by piggy-backing on two better films. Sad, sad, sad.
