It took me a while to get into the story of Peter living in an orphanage staff by cruel catholic nuns who steal rations during WW2: However once they got to Neverland I was totally entranced by the special effects including the crystal structures of the fairy kingdom and how the seemingly previously Dyslexic Peter can read the fairy language! I did not recognise Hugh Jackman as the evil pirate, or Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily. It is rather dark but I loved it!
