The script and plot twists were suspenseful with subtle humor. The cast and acting were top notch. The soundtrack could have been better, but in this movie took very little away from what the focus of the movie was. I think for this type lifestyle of the characters, there could have been a.little more action or danger to help us buy into the movie's reality, but again, I was able to suspend reality long enough to enjoy it.

Well acted, even more well written. The tabu of sexual assault and its impact on majority of women is missing, but the moral struggle and inner shame caused by her father and his deeds are intricately spun into the main character's SA and how her father's crimes have affected her. The message is that despite the sexual assault, it is not worse than what she has been subjected to by her father. I was initially ready to rate 4 instead of 5 stars because of how she appeared to enjoy her attacker's company,, but her ultimate response was her redeeming quality, as was her son's. I am not sure she would have had the strength to no longer be a victim had she not been freed of her Father's legacy. Her character is complex,, and she covers her emotions with work, unfulfilled sex, and anything else she can to erase the atrocities of her father. She feels more than her face expresses and we never know what she is thinking, which makes for a great plot. The best movie And character study I have seen all year.
