I am only on chapter 12 but find this latest read of L Penny to be difficult at best. My first thought was that it seemed that someone else had written it and was being too Pennyish if that makes sense. An attempt at throwing in brief details that don’t fit the narrative and feel as though they were thrown into the story fall flat. I agree that the editing is beyond horrible .
