The Today Show used to be our main source for morning news. However, these past few weeks instead of focusing on delivering the news the main stories have been promoting Savanna’s book and now today Hoda’s book. That’s great that the news anchor’s have written books— I just don’t think one of the main morning news shows is the proper venue for promoting personal items. Frankly, I’m surprised the producers of the show allow this to continue. Surely, I’m not the only viewer to voice this opinion. I’m hopeful the show will return their focus to the news in order to retain at least this viewer.
