We are long-time science fiction fans and dearly love Star Trek. We have watched every episode and movie. I am shocked that this movie was so terrible that we stopped watching it a few minutes in, with no plans to continue. It is very disappointing with almost nothing to recommend it. I certainly hope this type of production does not continue because it is not Star Trek. There is nothing to hold onto or identify with in this movie, in which the star murdered her whole family for personal gain. It is abysmal.

First let me say that I love The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings books and movie. However, I do not like the TV show. It is visually beautiful but the plot is garbled and so far feels negative. The interaction between the characters makes me uneasy. I will probably continue to watch it out of loyalty to the genre but I did not enjoy the first episode at all. I am not surprised that a majority of people were reported not to have finished watching the episode.

I love the new Quantum Leap. It is interesting, well-written, and well-acted. I also enjoyed the original Quantum Leap a great deal.

The last episode of this series were absolutely appalling. The musical one hit a new low. I could not watch it. Star Trek has been my favorite show for over fifty years and I have seen every episode. I have never been so disappointed in a TV show. I don't know if I can continue watching Star Trek after this terrible episode.
