First let me say that I love The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings books and movie. However, I do not like the TV show. It is visually beautiful but the plot is garbled and so far feels negative. The interaction between the characters makes me uneasy. I will probably continue to watch it out of loyalty to the genre but I did not enjoy the first episode at all. I am not surprised that a majority of people were reported not to have finished watching the episode.

I love the new Quantum Leap. It is interesting, well-written, and well-acted. I also enjoyed the original Quantum Leap a great deal.

The last episode of this series were absolutely appalling. The musical one hit a new low. I could not watch it. Star Trek has been my favorite show for over fifty years and I have seen every episode. I have never been so disappointed in a TV show. I don't know if I can continue watching Star Trek after this terrible episode.
